Exercise Stress Test

A non-invasive exercise treadmill used to look for changes on a patient's EKG that would represent the heart's inability to supply adequate blood flow through during the stress of exercise. It is a less expensive test than a SPECT, but not as sensitive. This procedure requires no preparation and must be performed by licensed/trained staff. It also requires the patient to have an IV.
