Renal Angiogram

An angiogram of the arteries that supply blood flow to the kidneys. The procedure is used to diagnosis malignant hypertension or very elevated blood pressure due to impaired blood flow to the kidneys and may be corrected by stenting. The test is done as an outpatient, but some high risk patients may be admitted overnight.  It requires overnight preparation.
