Nurse practitioner Angela Finney is in her second year with BlueStem Cardiology and has been practicing as an NP since 1998 in Independence, Caney and Parsons, Kansas. Finney attended both Pittsburg State University and Wichita State University in Kansas, earning her Masters in Nursing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is certified as an ACNP, as well as a trauma nurse, and has been a registered nurse since 1983.
While at BlueStem, Finney has continued her involvement in furthering the medical profession with research in pain management in dementia patients and utilizing nurse practitioners in the emergency room setting.
Finney and her husband have two grown children and in her spare time, Finney enjoys scrapbooking, gardening, crafts and reading.
