Echocardiogram (Echo)

An echo is a  3-D ultrasound picture of the heart. It provides information about the internal structures of the heart, such as valves and can determine how much the heart pumps. This test requires no preparation, but does require scheduling. The rest will take approximately 45 minutes. A licensed technologist performs this test and the test must be read by our cardiologist.
