A native of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Dr. Stanley P. DeFehr has been a member of the BlueStem Cardiology team since 1980. With nearly 30 years experience, Dr. DeFehr is one of three BlueStem physicians boasting at least 15 years with the practice.

 

Dr. DeFehr's extensive background in cardiology has its roots at the University of Oklahoma, where he completed his undergraduate and medical training. A lifelong Oklahoma Sooners fan, Dr. DeFehr also completed his internship and residency at OU before moving to Bartlesville and becoming of one the founding members of BlueStem Cardiology.

 

Dr. DeFehr is certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Cardiology, and is a member of the American Medical Association. Additionally, Dr. DeFehr holds prestigious placement as the ACC (American College of Cardiology) Governor for the state of Oklahoma.

 

Dr. DeFehr and his wife, Cynthia, have five children, Grant, Mary, Justin, Lee and Ben.
