30 Day Event Monitor (Cardionet)
A cell phone technology heart monitor that can be worn by a patient for 30 days. During this time the patient’s heart rhythm is constantly being monitored and recorded by trained staff who can alert the on-call person if the patient has a life threatening irregularity. This procedure is used to look for abnormal rhythms. Company representatives place the monitor on the patient in their home. We can access a report over the internet for each patient being monitored.
