Mollie Bechtelheimer joined BlueStem Cardiology as a nurse practitioner in 2000 after six years with Jane Phillips Medical Center, the hospital with which BlueStem is currently affiliated. At BlueStem, Bechtelheimer has been an active member of the staff, developing a peripheral vascular disease clinic, facilitating clinical research studies, providing cardiovascular education to nursing staff and patients and acting as a resource for specialty clinics on Coumadin and lipids.

 

Also a current adjunct nursing professor at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Bechtelheimer received her undergraduate and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas.

 

She is AACN, NP-C, ANCC, APRN and BC certified, and chair of the local NP/PA organization and American Heart Association “Go Red for Women” campaign.

Bechtelheimer is also active in the Bartlesville community as a member of the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Nursing Board Advisory Committee, volunteer medical provider for the Green County Free Clinic and a youth and teen sponsor at Tyro Christian Church.
