Aorto Femoral Run Off
An angiogram of the abdominal and femoral arteries. This procedure is used to assess the flow of blood from the pelvis to the legs. Blockages that cause poor circulation to the legs can be corrected with stenting or other interventions. AFRO is done as an outpatient procedure, but some high risk patients may be admitted overnight. This procedure requires overnight preparation.
