BlueStem Cardiology is among an elite group of area cardiography clinics that boasts national accreditation. Three BlueStem departments, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound Imaging and Echocardiography have all earned accreditation through hard work and determination. We believe it matters to remain at the forefront of national standards.
The
Nuclear Medicine Services department of BlueStem was awarded it's accreditation from the American College of Radiology Commission on Quality and Safety for nuclear cardiography.
The Nuclear Medicine accreditation offers a comprehensive review and evaluation of the nuclear medicine equipment, personnel qualifications, image quality and quality control procedures to ensure that patients are receiving quality patient care.
The Ultrasound Imaging Services department was also accredited by the American College of Radiology Commission on Quality and Safety for vascular ultrasound services, including:
Peripheral Vascular
Cerebrovascular
Abdominal Vascular
Deep Abdominal Vascular
The Ultrasound Department has received accreditation in four areas of vascular ultrasound. Accreditation provides assurance that patients are getting a high-quality, thorough exam by high-quality sonographers and physicians.
The Echcardiography Laboratory has been accredited by The Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories for adult transthoracic. ICAEL is designed to recognize laboratories that provide quality echocardiographic services and whose interpreting physicians and practicing sonographers are adequately trained and experienced to interpret and perform echocardiograms.
