BlueStem Cardiology
With three physicians that have been partners for 20 years, BlueStem Cardiology has created a unique practice that utilizes the relationships of its cardiologists. Each has played roles for one another as mentor, counselor, teacher and friend. They work together in making the best decision for the patient by using the expertise of each in a collective fashion and having the benefit of counsel between them is a luxury utilized often. We feel that is part of what makes BlueStem unique and continue to cultivate, build and implement these relationships as we bring in new physicians to teach us and whom we can continue to teach.
Our clinic also utilizes the services of mid-level practitioners who work in full collaboration with the physician. This team approach delivers special skills that can’t be taught, like how to stay in touch with each patient.
Our staff enjoys a diverse group of medical professionals, some of whom have been with us since inception and others who just recently joined our team. Together, we work hard to educate and nurture our staff, teaching them about cardiology and the importance of taking care of not only the patient, but of each other as well.
We recognize that patients travel from surrounding clinics to see a cardiologist and to reduce travel for our patients we operate clinics in many outlying communities, including Independence and Coffeyville, Kansas; Nowata and Pawhuska, Oklahoma and use the internet to see patients over the TV screen “telemedicine" in Sedan and Cedarvale, Kansas.
